Hello All:

I live on the south side of South Bend Indiana.
I would like to pick up the HD in Chicago. They are approx. (70 to 90) miles away for their towers. I know some of the HD is VHF and most is UHF (http://www.antennasdirect.com/HDTV_station_lists.html)

Is this feasible with an outdoor antenna?
I am sure I need a tower.
Are there companies that still install towers?
I am trying to do some homework before I try something I might regret.
Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you

- Yo need the new HD amplified antennas (winegard GS-2200 or Terk)
- Do a survey at: http://www.antennaweb.org/aw/Address.aspx
- Check my few different listed antenna brands at: http://forum.ecoustics.com/cgi-bin/bbs/show.pl?tpc=2&post=1062457#POST1062457

If yo buy it from Best Buy or Circuit City they may install it for yo for yo for about $50
- Or yo can follow my simple steps here: http://forum.ecoustics.com/cgi-bin/bbs/show.pl?tpc=2&post=1077210#POST1077210

I get channels 65 miles away with an old antenna in the attic fine. I use a booster, but I don't know if I actually need one or not.

Hi, I am new to this so if I am asking a ? that has already been asked please direct me to the right place.
I just recently purchased a Sony 32" HDTV LCD. In the area I live in (Hillsboro OR.) the receiver picked up 40 some Digital Channels. But when I put my TV on these channels the Picture breaks up or sometimes I loose the Single. Do I need to purchase a Digital Antena? & if so what do you recomend? & how is it set up?

Neither, the TV is hooked uped to Comcast Cable. During the set up it searched for Regular Cable Channels then Digital channels.
That is why I was wondering, if I hooked up an Indoor Antenna, would it help with the reception of those channels?

Thank You
George

If I were yo
Never buy an indoor antenna
Unless if yo absolutly must to

Indoor antenna loses at least half of the signal
