I canceled my service to directv and was wondering if I could still extract the tv shows off of it and put on my desktop to burn to dvd? Once you cancel your service the dvr will not let you watch the shows already recorded on the hard drive. This is the reason I was wondering if they could be removed from the dvr hard drive.
