1. Press the ‘Setup’ button to enter the ‘Setup’ Menu.
2. Move the cursor to the ‘Speaker Setup’ page.
3. Press 9,2,1,0 in sequence to enter version page.
4. Select "Support mode on".
5. Power player ‘OFF’ then ‘ON’ again.
6. Upgrade completed.

Another method if the above doesn't work:

1. Press the ‘Setup’ button to enter the ‘Setup’ Menu.
2. Press 9,2,1,0 in sequence to enter version page.
3. Select "Support mode on".
4. Power player ‘OFF’ then ‘ON’ again.
5. Upgrade completed.

1. Using the remote control, key in the following : Open/Close, Zoom, A-B, Up, Left, Down, Right.

To change the player to a specific region:

1. Press the Open/Close button on the remote control to open the drive tray.
2. Using the remote control, key in 1, 1, 1, 1, followed by the region number.
3. The word Region and then the number you selected should briefly appear on screen to confirm that the hack has been successful.

To change the player back to Region 2:

1. Press the Open/Close button on the remote control to open the drive tray.
2. Using the remote control, key in the following: Zoom, Up, Left, Down, Right.
3. The drive tray should close and the player should now return to its factory default settings.
