1. Using the remote control, key in the following: RH, UP, Shuffle, Stop, Mute.

1. The two methods work on both models LS28 and 35 identically as they use same head unit.
2. The first "method" makes the unit region "0"
3. the second "method" allows specific regions to be entered for region-enhanced disks
4. The second "method" needs requires the disk tray to be opened before entering codes to ensure it works.

Region Select Method:

1. Using the remote control, key in the following: Stop, Shuffle, followed by the region number (1-4) required, then Enter.

Another method:

Multi-Region:

1. Using the remote control, key in the following: Seek Forward, Tune Up, Shuffle, Stop, Mute.

To set a specific region:

1. Using the remote control, key in the following: Open, Stop, Shuffle, followed by the region number required.
2. Press the Enter button on the remote control.

Newer models of the 35 do not seem to respond to these methods now.
