REGION FREE METHODS FOR : Arcam

 

MODEL(S) : METHOD : CONFIRMED?
DV88, FMJ DV-27 1.  Press the OPEN/CLOSE button on the remote control to open the player's drive tray.
2.  Press 1, 1, 1, 1 on the remote control (one at a time).
3.  Select the required region using the remote control by pressing 13 for region-free, 01 for region 1, 02 for region 2, etc, or 13 for region free.
4.  The word REGION and then the region you selected should briefly appear on screen to confirm that the hack has been successful.

To change this unit to a specific region if the above does not work

1. Press the Setup on the remote control
2. A setup menu should now be displayed
3. Press the buttons 4, 7, 9 and 2 on the remote control, in order, one at a time
4. Using the Left and Right keys on your remote control, change the region to 1 for region 1, 2 for region 2, and so on
4. Exit the setup menu

DV88, DV88P, DV88+, DV27, DV27+ Changing region code is simple to do on the machine simply press the buttons on the remote in the following sequence stop, eject, 1111 and then the final two digits from the table below.

Note: the sequence stop, eject, 1234 then two codes also seems to work however it adjusts many other often undesirable video settings. It is not recommended for use.
