hi guys
i new kid on block here,can someone please help me i did the factory default reset everthing did all over again, now i missing some of the channel.and some channel are double.
how can i get the missing channel back>
i have VS2000 PLATINUM.
Pleaed advise what to do. |

Yes, there are some stupid problems going on with the latest Jvvh bin. Jvvh didn't make this bin, it's this other new kid who made it. |

Oh, so you have the original Pansat 2700? If yes, then please try to do FACTORY RESET and the check your ANTENNA SETTINGS. Then, re-scan your sats |

From what I know, those receivers are Pansat 2500 CLONES, am I right? Well, now you have to convert Pansat 2500 CLONES to a Pansat 2700 in order to watch TV. |

You HAVE to convert your receiver to a Pansat 2700 and then use Pansat 2700 modded bins. There will be no support for Fortec STAR Lifetime Ultra receivers. In order to watch TV, you either convert your receiver to a Pansat 2700 or buy a new FTA unit. |

Ariza 700 and others looking for advice on new receiver purchase.
The Viewsat Ultra and Sonicview 4000 are similar. They both have USB input for new files, which is a great help. They are priced around $160-$195. For the Viewsat Ultra you have to be ultra careful about purchasing a clone - so you must buy one from a reliable authorised dealer.
The CaptiveWorks 600P is a great receiver for about $100. It has had a good support all along and uses serialinputfor new files. |

Majid Khan and Guy Anderson and others with Pansat 2500 and clones and FLU
Your receiver will work in a limited way for"local channels" ,etc. It will still give you NBC, ABC, PBS, an some other channels. Notably, you will NOT get PPV and all of International channels.
I have posted recommendations for a new receiver. If you do not wish to budget for a new one, I suggest you get the Pansat 2500 clone to Pansat 2700 conversion kit and convert to 2700. The kit requires you to upgrade first to a jvvh 205, then jvvh 208. Then you go up to perhaps jvvh 213 and then jvvh 218 which is the latest. YOU MUST FOLLOW THE EXACT PROCEDURE. Waiting and patience are a great virtue in this upgrade as in many BIN uploads.
You just use BL Updater 1.4 only
You must use jvvh BINs only.
One special note: jvvh himself has advised lately that for the first time upgrade, not to use 205 but to start with 208. I have not done it that way yet, so I do not know.
Also there is a zip file for converting back to 2500should something go wrong. It is called
2700 to 2500 via serial port.zip
This would be a very useful file.
All files have to be unzipped before use. This applies to loaders, and BIN files. Read the instructions carefully. Most of the problems arise from haste.

I converted my FLU to Pansat 2700 "by the book" several days ago. I scanned Echo 7 (119.0) and Echo 8/10 (110.0) satellites and everything seems to work fine. However, about every other day I lose all the channels of one satellite (usually 110.0). So, I have to rescan the missing satellite every time it goes out to get it working again.
I never had this problem before. Is this one of the bugs with bin jvvh_228_pT? Is there any fix available?
Any help will be greatly appreciated. |

One trick to upload the bin file is after you have connected the receiver to the computer and have the bin file on the loader, click on the write option on the loader on your computer and then switch the receiver on. This will load the bin file.

Pansat 2500 to 2700 conversion.
First time conversion, use jvvh 205 or jvvh 208 BIN. Get ready to write and using one hand on receiver back turn on switch and immediately click on write.
Wait WAit WAit for B75 to appear. and then wait even more.
For later upgrades to newer BIN, do the same as above except that you click on write soon after "b" appears.
Latest BIN is jvvh 218
All files have to be unzipped before use. This applies to loaders, and BIN files. Read the instructions carefully. Most of the problems arise from haste.

i dont think keys will work its a new ECM and a bin fix will be the only fix for autoroll expect BL with a new bin soon i hope man no more east cost shows 2 night gotta watch cable |

DN is testing again. Now they have all the channels in the same key. 101 is working for all channels, PPV, Movies, Variety...

You should have the new 96 or 01 key, as shown, to be able to view all channels.
DN might go back to the 106 key for PPV anytime.
Turn off autorolls and enter correct keys.
Wait for new bins. |

There is a modified stream in the satellite feed, that makes the keys change.
In order to avoid the changes, turn autoroll options off.

Search for the brand of your box.
New bins shouls start appearing by tonight for Pansat, and the rest will follow in the next couple of days |

allrite guyz...i have converted my FLU to pansat2700a...everything working great...except...wen i m watching 61.5...my signal get lost for 119...in order to fix dat...i have to keep turning it off from da back and den turn it on back..den it starts working...does anyone know...y its behaving like dis..??? |

when i went to the code section i already ad the new key in it, but i had to change the one letter cuz it was wrong.... after i cahnged it my channels were back, but after around 5 mins that same letter goes back and ihave to change it again ot make my channels work, why? what shoudl i do? |
