This is how to load your 2500,FLU or clone to a 2700 clone via the SERIAL PORT
NO Need to Jtag!!!!...Just follow these instructions...Pay attention to these steps and specifically the Timing of Bin uploads..
You will Need a Pansat remote, but others have been sucessful with their receiver remotes.
READ your Channel list with Channel MAster and leave open in background.
Read and write down your antenna receiver settings, some place.VERY IMPORTANT
1. Open/Run the Blacklist updater V 1.4..
2. Make sure BIN is Selected not BOOT you are writing a Bin
3. Click select BIN
4. Choose j27_205_1.bin
5. Reboot reciever, on first light/dash, Click write bin. let it write. Timing is Important here!...be persistent!
When it is done, Be PATIENT!!!! Let it reboot, after 2-3 minutes you will see B-75 Flash on display of reciever. Be patient while this occurs. Do NOT interrupt this..
6. Click select BIN
7. Choose jvvh_208_1.bin
8. Reboot reciever on first light Click write bin. let it write. Again , Timing is Important here, be persistent. Let it reboot after 1 minute you will see B-75 Flash on display of reciever.
9. Now Rewrite your Channel list back, BUT, you must now select the 2700 settings in Channel master. If U prefer, U can do sat scans instead of using channel lists and channel master.
10. Reconnect to Tv, select default key from parental options (key menu)..let it autoroll
11. Now U have ONLY just done the conversion and must now upload latest Jvvh BIN..
OK...now U have done the conversion but now U need the and upload latest and most current jvvh bin, and do new channel scan or upload your channel list, and set default key, be patient when keys roll...U can use the same remote and loader that U have used during the conversion.. |

the 500 is a pansat 2500 clone, so is basically useless now..
the 600 can be converted to a Captiveworks 600

Converting 2500 to 2700.
Latest instructions from jvvh are to ignore his previous suggestion to start with jvvh BIN 205 and instead to start the conversion with jvvh 208. |

Couple of question.....
everything is working fine now, my question is i only enter my keys manually and a couple of things has changed. parental is gone, it say cas control menu now.
another thing is when i go to nagravision 2 i don't see the 0106, i only have 0101 and 0901 in provider id. IS THERE SOMETHING WRONG? DO I SET MY AUTOROLL OFF? that's what i did last time.
btw i own a pansat 3000, i guess they've converted it already. paid 20 for it.
i'd appreciate any help |

Ali3: You should get Hindi channels on 148. Do a Blind scan or Advanced scan. If no success, load and older BIN, then load the latest, and do rescanning. |

Sonny Jaworski : Set autoroll on. It seems that the BIN writer has got the 0106 ID programmed in, but is not showing it. If you try to enter keys manually, it may not work.
Till you scan one sat, you will not be able to use cas control. You also have to do all user settings and antenna settings before you start scanning. |

kamran...U don't put jvvh 218 in a pansat 2700 clone receiver....jvvh 218 is ONLY for 2500 and its clones, CONVERTED to a 2700 receiver.. |

The conversion is first using jvvh 205 or jvvh 208. Latest file to load is jvvh 218.
There is also a thread here with a lot of instructions and discussions.
Follow the insturctions carefully, except that you should use BL updater 1.4 for loading files into your receiver. |

Please help. Just tried to convert 2500a to 2700a. Ran loader 1.4 and j27 bin. All was going great, but never rebooted. Now when I power it up, I get nothing.

All,
I have successfully converted my FLU. I am now watching both echo 3,61.5 and echo 7,119. But I am not getting any channels when I scan the FTA channels of G25-Ku at 97. These free channels were working before the conversion.
Is there anyone who is getting the free Middle eastern channels after the conversion ? Please share the experience. Thanks. |

Dish-it: You should pay a little more attention to what is happening around you. At any site you visited to get the files or instructions, you would notice that the latest BIN is jvvh 218. If you care to read a few of the threads of forums you would notice that things started going bad about 4days ago and new files came out with a date of last 4 days.
YOU DO NOT ENTER KEYS MANUALLY.
They will automatically roll in with autoroll on.
You will however need to restore all user settings and antenna settings. |

please help my buzz S2010f regular got freez.
Someone told me i have to download factory bin nov,15,2005 and after that rest factory, and download bin oct,26, 2007.
but i have same problem when i download factory bin.
please help help me

i download sep,11 file bin and the new one doesn't work.
and i did download sonyview sv1000.
my receiver got freezing.
I got letter 'E' in the clock screen.

Does n e 1 know y i cant watch some of my channels.. Im missing a couple movie channels and all my xxx channels. Does n e 1 else have this problem? Doe n e 1 know how to fix it...? Please help.... I have pansta2700A and i download bin 218.
it worked for 2hours but my pansta now power is off.i thing it borned. |

help me please, I have a SonicView 4000 after I loaded the 167 bin, I lost eveything after channel 450, so no PPV's, I already loaded the 169 bin, and still the same problem, no PPV's and I don't know how to delete all channels and scan everything again, |

I have Pansat 2700A (original). BIN file "X-87BL_071023_B75_218_api_1" downloded successfully, but the box is not booting. What I see is just the "_" moving left to right. I did not rush to close the loader programe untill I saw "down load is completed" message. I connected the box with cable and TV but got blank screen. The led on Pansat box just show moving "_". What I have done wrong? Need help. Thank you. |

It looks like you did something wrong and got knight rider lights. Please load the BOOT FILE for Pansat 2700 followed by the FACTORY BIN for Pansat 2700. Then, load the latest working bin for Pansat 2700. |
