I am considering dumping the $5 per month I pay to Dish Network for poor quality HD Local channels and get an OTA receiver. My question is, does anyone know if I can tie it into my DVR so I can record those channels, or is that not possible? |

It depends on how old is your dvr/receiver
On older models yo can only turn off receiver to get OTA reception. On the newer DVR it is integrated on menu guide.
This section can guide yo to put both DN satellite and OTA HD antenna
The tuner in this case will be your HD receiver

u can easily do that... just go out from TV to input on dvr. anything playing on tv will record |

mine has ota ant, and dn comming in, different inputs, so i can use my PIP too. I can only record what I watch tho, I didnt mention that. |
