Scientific Atlanta Explorer 8300HDC (High Definition Digital Video Recorder)

Is it possible to switch between tuners on the 8300HDC?
I used to have a DirecTiVo.
A feature that I used a LOT was I switched between the 2 tuners by pressing the down arrow.
This is technically called "Dual Live Buffers".
I have Time-Warner cable in the Cleveland, OH area.

Switching tuners is not exactly like the DircTV Tivo
But it does have the PIP that DTV didn't have including the Swap
- They are the last 5 buttons on the bottom of your remote including ch+/ch- next to the Video Source button
It is a great feature, I love it
It also works the same
Yo can record 2 different movies at same time
Good choice
