FAISAL DO NOW CREATE A KEY NUMBER i had the same problem just set defualt keys and wait it will work...now i can inpute keys in dish 0101 it works but i dotn have a dish 0106 PID and it WORKS! |

Clone Pansat 2700: Use Tivo BIN or Vortx BIN
Converted to Pansat 2700 (from 2500 or FLU): Use jvvh BINs only. |

AV: I am signing off for 4-5 hours. As far as I can make out, the only loose ends are:
1. Pansat 2500 and Flu converted to 2700 - waiting for jvvh 218 BIN
2. C00LSAT 4000 and clone C00LSAT 4000s such as Cooltec and Megasat pro. No new BIN yet. |

Read the first post and download the files from the links given. Read the instrutions file at least 3 times before you start the conversion. You DO NOT need any JTAG or some special cable, just use your normal serial cable that you use to load new bins/files to your FLU. |

Some receivers don't have 0106 key in their latest bin, but they're working using 0101 key. |

Hello Nalin : ) Im a new just registered member aka (rookie) and need your help....From what I can see you have lots of brains for this stuff. I have Pansat 2500a and tried converting to 2700 by using jvvh files and after i completed all both downloads was told my receiver would reboot and never did...just keeps flashing back and forth. What do you advise? thanks

Hi All
I have pansat 2700A i upgraded new bin it was working file now its down since morning. Can any one help on the screen 0101 the second line showing FF FF and not saving any new keys. Second on 0106 the keys are updated but not showing Dish Network on the top? any idea what to do? Thanks all |

There's no other conversion kit, and Pansat 3500 are not converted, Blacklist still supports those receivers.

There was an ECM two days ago. Download the fix and start watching TV. Some receivers are still waiting for their fix. |

I have the same problem now and I had the same problem b4...This FU%^ing flashing LED light means that your receiver is "fried".....It basically needs J-Tagging (J-TAG)
I have not figured out how to do that but i know its an extencive process and you need some cable to do it.!! i guess someone will tell you more after reading this message!!! I found someone who charged me to do mine, but i want to learn how to do it on my own...But yaa this flashing led light means your receiver needs J-tag! |

ok.....my channels are working... like Av told me i downloaded the file he mentionned... but after... when u download the file to ur receivers.... then plug it back... it doesnt show 0106 dish.. so do we have to put it manually...
( i dont have 0106 but its working....)

No need to JTAG...flashing dashes ---- lights is "nite rider" lights...just simply CORRECTLY upload an older bin...then latest bin 218
Shut OFF receiver with rear switch...open up loader 27.02, and get bin 218 ready and select it...then hit DOWNLOAD...then IMMMEDIATELY turn receiver ON with rear switch...its all about timing...and being persistent.. |

Hey guys I have been out for a few days and am fairly new to this fta stuff. I know that something was changed with the programming and new bins have to be downloaded. I have a viewsat extreame and a captive works 600s. Can anyone PLEASE point me in the right direction of where I can find the new bins for these boxes and how to install them! Tudor, I am in the same situation. I have an FLU and I do not see any point of converting until we get the JVVH 218 bin file. It is taking longer than I thought but we have no other choice. We have to sit and wait. |

My VS Xtreme just die on me after I install the new bin for 2 hrs.... does this happened to anyone else?? first black screen and then you see '3' on the receiver screen.
After I turn off the switch in the back it never goes back on. |

i wanna convert my flu to 2700a but i dont wanna use tool kit that includes jvh bins. because jvh bins take too long to come out. anyways i wanna convert flu in to 2700 does anyone know any other kits i can download whose bins are actually update and are out... |

satgirl just be patient it will come out when it comes out. falcon i think u killed your reciever if it doesn't want to turn on at all , its dead so u have to jtag it.
rohali, the only conversion u can do to your fortec is to make it a 2700 if you want to watch tv, and you will have to wait for the jvh 218 bin to come out. |

deepu: Forget Ariza. It is highly unlikely it will become active for a long time to come. You can use it for "locals, ABC,NBC,PBS etc but not for PPV and for internationals.
Buy a Sonicview 4000 or Viewsat Ultra. I f you want something cheap buy a CaptiveWorks 600P |
