I have ACE 2700 looking for the latest bin. Howver, I plugged the receiver to my computer using RS 232. How do i browse to find the reciever i mean which drive would that be. I checked all the drives. Is that possible the receiver is not readeable. Please Help... |

Nalin Nyda.....sup man!
Okay I have a question. I have four Pansat 2700a "clone" box and recently b 4 all this mess started with the missing channels, I try to download a "tivo" bin file and "tivo" loader @ the "dssrookie" website and I burned 2 of my F$%king box. It needs J-tagging and I know that’s the only way those two is going to work. But the other two of my boxes have the same problem that everyone else having. However, I am scared to download any other "unsafe" bin file. PLEASE TELL ME IF THIER IS ANY "SAFE" BIN FILE FOR PANSAT 2700A CLONE (that has been tested on clone boxes). I am not ready for another mess up with my current boxes.

does it happens to anyone else?? Every time I unplug my LNB from my Viewsat Xtreme receiver, I won't get any signal after I reconnect it. Sometime it will come back after I unplug the receiver for 5 mins..

ok the pansat 2700 bin has is not out yet and the keys will not work because the provider id is not 0101 no more it has changed and the new setting is only in the new bins that have not arrived yet u can keep checking at ftabins*net adn the keys u can check at dss-keys.com |

Jalal Mehta and others using clone Pansat 2700. There is two latest working releases, that should be OK for clone 2700 and for real 2700s. Use 27.02 loader. These BINs are NOT suitable for jvvh converted receivers, i.e. receivers converted from 2500 or from FLU. jvvh 218 has not been released yet, as far as I know, and if released, it will be appropriately labeled.

hi first of all this is a great site, i've learned so much.
my problem is, i own a pansat 3000 from what i've read it's a clone of the 2500 (pls. correct me if i'm wrong).
in channels edit, i'm suppose to delete all channels and scan it again but i deleted echo 7/Ku by mistake. now i can't get the hbo and ppv channels just the regular ones, the nbc's, abc's, etc.
did i mess up my receiver?????
i only enter my keys manually. i'm not familiar with the downloading stuff, those bins you guys talk about, i have no idea.
i've been reading the comments. maybe is it because of the new bin satgrl been talking about. i'm confused. |

hey sonny ummm...u have to get a new bin because there is a new ECM...the keys u input in 0101 is no longer working u need to have it to 0106 but u cannot do it maually like LK said u need to load the new bin for it.. |

Atul: Your receiver does NOT appear as a device on your computer. You need a piece of software called Loader or Uploader, which you get from where you get the latest BIN file, which is the one you are going to upload to your receiver.
You RUN the Loader software, and in that software you select the file to upload to your receiver. The loading software (when properly matched) recognises the receiver and sends it to the receiver.
You should go to one of the sites and read and read and read for 2-3 hours before you attempt the procedure. |

Viewsat "messup".
There are some threads suggesting some problems with Viewsat latest BINs. LK has posted a valid explanation and King Tapeman has an opposite theory. My 2 cent worth is there too in those threads. |

COOLSAT5000_NORW_151_20071024 is workinf fine, I just tested it.
It adds the 106 codes on the last window when you key in 8282. |

so for me to get 0106 i need to do some downloading, meaning download the new bin. is that right? sorry if that's a newbie question. it's just that when it comes to downloading stuff. i have no clue.
btw was looking at the provider and saw 0905, is that the new one for bell. does that mean that 0901 doesn't work anymore.

i have the exact same receiver, pansat 3000. i believe it's a clone for pansat 2500. i've read that somewhere a few months ago. i had the same problem too.
in regards to bin. sorry i am stuck on that one too. |

Rohail, bin jvh18 has not come out yet. the only thing you can do is wait for it to come out.
ChickyT, when you wanna upload a bin u need a rs232 cable that needs to be hooked up from your reciever to your pc. |

This guy converted to jvvh 217. He is no further ahead in TV viewing, but is reasonablly well placed to take advantage of jvvh 218 BIN when it comes out.
Now get yourself a nice DVD and watch it till jvvh 218 comes out. |

neesha S: For most receiver the new files or BINs get downloaded to your hard drive.
From the hard drive you have to use a loader which is a separate file you downloaded. The Loader or Uploader file recognises the presence of your receiver WHEN you have it properly connected to your computer via RS232 or Modem cable. Then you transfer the file to your receiver.
For viewsat Ultra and Sonicview 4000, the BINs get downloaded to your USB drive first. You then plug your USB drive in your receiver and using your remote control, you upload the latest BIN file into your receiver. |

Pansat 3000 is a Pansat 2500A clone and is NOT manufactured by Pansat. Anything and everything that applies to Pansat 2500 clones applies to Pansat 3000. |

alan flan: Megasats are either Pansat 2500 clones or in the case of Megasat pro they are C00LSAT 4000 clones.
There is no file out yet for C00LSAT 4000. Usually Megasat Pro uses a clone safe file made for C00LTEC. It would be unwise to use a file intended for the real C00LSAT 4000. |

Hi I have a problem and I would really appreciate it if someone can help me.
I have a Pansat 2700A, and I uploaded the newest bins (217 and 218) both do not seem to work. Once I load the bin and the led dash on the front of the reciever keeps on going back and forth. I know I am loading the bin right because I tried it with some old bins and the reciever does turn on, but thats not the case with the new bins. Can someone please help me. Is there certain file i have to load or different tools I have to use to update the new bin? |

omar nabil : Loader is BL updater 1.4
Latest BIN is 294T, although currently BINs 288T 289T,290T 293T, are all working eaually well or or equally badly.
You will need to upgrade to jvvh 2700. Look elsewhere in this forum for the appropriate thread.

problem is i only have dn 0101 (00 and 01) there is no 0101 (01 06) do i create the key number with the number pad and then enter the 01 06 key or does this key automatically show up once you install the new bin, b/c it didnt show up after installing new bin??? |
