Ok, so I know a lot of you will be pissed at me for this, but I have a Pansat 3500, and I don't know what the whole BIN file dealy is all about. So, first. Do I need to get the bin files, with that receiver?
And second, if I do, how do I get it, and could someone guide me as to how to apply it to my receiver?

make sure the 3500 has the b-80 boot file in it before you load any files to it--this is also at future-fta.info

i am using the 27.02 loader
the reciever is not turning on after i download the 218 bin
all it shows on the reciever is a little dash that keeps moving left and right

how do i load the new pansat files in to receiver what loader do i use. i try to use
X-87BL Loader v27.02[X-87BL].exe and i load the files. Then i started the reciver and click on download but its only says "Downloading......"
it does not do anything. do i have to wait for some time or what? |

I'll try, the pansat 2700 had a boot file upgrade from 62 to 75 (you can check your 2700 by pressing menu and look at the right corner of screen to see what boot ver. you have) after the upgrade, bins were numbered starting at 200.
this upgrade must be done or you will have dashes dashing across your 2700 until you revert back to a older bin(which you did) and do the boot file 75 upgrade |

VIEWSAT!!! This happens every couple months. Just wait and a fix (pgm file) will be out, probably by tomorrow. Just be happy you have a viewsat as they come out with fixes right away |

ChickyT : You have already had three answers. If you care to read about 50 of the previous posts,you will know that you have to load the latest BIN dated yesterday to able to get all the viewing.
And the BINs have to be loaded on top of B80 boot. |

so ppl, we know the ppv, espn are blocked, so i need to download a bin, need the data null modem cable and the but loader, so i plug the cable into the pansat 2700a then what? i am lost there with running the loader and installing the bin, if neway can post a link to a manul or something =) |

Do NOT use either of the above for a jvvh conversion.
jvvh 218 is not out yet but is imminent. |

I just upgraded to bin file 218, boot version B75. I'm not getting any channels, "Wait for Picture" message. Any ideas? Autoroll is ON.

Try switch off at back and on after 30 seconds.
Sometimew with new BINs the autoroll takes a very long time, so worth trying manual load of keys for ID 0101 and for 0106. |
