Trying to copy an old VHS tape, "Northwest Passage" onto DVD using my Sima CT-2. Whether I record to the DVD recorder's harddrive or directly to DVD, the picture darkens every 10 seconds or so. Other VHS tapes copy fine. Is this a macrovision problem perhaps on this particular tape? The tape viewed by itself is fine. This tape is not available on DVD or I would gladly buy it. Any ideas as to how I can successfully copy this tape?

Figured it out. Apparently this tape is not copy-protected. Bypassed the Sima and connected VCR directly to DVD Recorder; burned to DVD-R with no color loss this time.
