Are you still able to use the old atmega 128 cards or are these recivers good paper weights? Just wondering I have FTA but wanted to use the other reciver in the kids play room. I used to have private skript on this system but would rather not go back to that. I am wondering if these are still good and if so were do I find info to flash and program the reciver myself. |

Hi,
I have Viewsat Extreme receiver, 2 satellites, pointing to 110, 82.5.
I get dish network without any problems...however, I dont get any BEV channels.
I use to get the channels till last week.
The signal is 80% but there is no quality.
I tried changing the frequency in the setup and while doing that i get some quality but it goes away after some time.
any help will be appriciated.

For those who have not scanned Echo 3 recently - ZeeSA (Zee Sports) was not available before and is available now. Use info provide by Kevin above to do a TP scan - or do a blind scan to get all the current channels.

I found by unplugging my receiver for 30 seconds and then reinstalling the same codes for both DISH and BEV they work |

BEV is 91 degrees west using south as 90 degrees. Here the elevation is 30 degrees but there it may be higher, like 35 or 36. Also, I believe the LNB is different for BEV than DISH, but try it. I have 2 dishes that is why I can get both |

Note that this is a fix for Globecast, and if you are not wanting Globecast, there is no need to upgrade.

yes...Pansat released all NEW Globecast (GC) autorolling bins today except for the 2500 and the 2700...
That should tell u something about the 2700....due to all the 2500-2700 conversions, the 2700 is next not to be supported (I'm sure they will have a GC fix out soon, but for how much longer is limited , IMO)...pansat is NOT happy ith this 2500-2700 conversion...in fact U will be banned from their site for even discussing it!
BTW...www.ftaprosupport.com and www.dsscommunity.c*om have ALL the new globecast bins..and NO traffic! |

ligia girboan : As long as you are sure you have a Genuine Pansat 2700, you can use the 215 BIN. It will work with GC. If you don not need GC, then you can stay with 213 BIN for DN, or upgrade - either way it will not mess up the DN except that you might have to rescan.
If you have a Pansat 2500 to 2700 conversion, use the jvvh 215 BIN - it is out and is subject of my next post |

I tested the jvvh215 A/R on all and D/N
Thanks to jvvh for the bin file
I use the 2700 to 2500 loader on top of the 213 bin no problem

I added all loaders, 2700 to 2500, BL1.4, and Fortecstar stb 4.0

ZEESA is one of the latest additions to the Echo 3 list, and has mostly cricket etc.
SETA (406) is Sentana sports and has soccer etc. This also is a newly added channel on Echo 3.
I believe there are equivalents at 121W and 148W |

Three people have posted here that they had their receivers die with this jvvh 215 bin...and others elsewhere...and NOTHING is said about its OK for GC....even jvvh himself doesn't say its SAFE, and may have a killer bug...

There was a bug in the original release by jvvh for converted recivers, i.e. receivers converted from 2500, clones and from FLU. It has apparently been fixed.

Bug fix for 2.15 2500 convert
Fix for the prev 215 release--there was a bug that did not defeat a bomb.
Sorry did not catch it--it is initiated by a key roll, so if your box has not had a key update just load this bin and you will be OK. If you have had a key update then your boot code is overwitten and if your box is still running then load a boot, if box is not running then it is jtag time.

Nalin is NOT a tester...which she has admitted here many times....I don't think she even owns a FTA receiver....she has KILLED many receivers over the past year....and will continue to do so...all she does is copy/paste from others....and often provide bogus info..
she ONLY reads and sees what she wants to and doesn't THOROUGHLY do any research.., cause next to the file she linked above, there was another thread that I linked, WARNING people NOT to use this 215 bin that she initially copied/pasted and linked... |

You do not even know that Factory setting does NOT erase the just loaded BIN - you stupid monster! And you have the nerve to come and criticise me. Cartier even corrected you and you still did not understand.
One can and often does do factory setting to start the process of rescanning. The only thing Cartier might not have explained clearly is that you will have to do User setup of time, date etc before scanning.
And Cartier said it correctly to do set default key to let the autoroll work and load the fresh keys.
All you psychos forget to take your pills and then come here to bash regular helpers. |

U need to
1... NEVER listen to Nalin Nyda..
2...realign your dish to the Bev sats 82W and/or 91W
3...scan the Bev satellites
4...and do everything else the same as U did for DN ( antenna settings, let Bev keys autoroll, upload latest bin (they all have both DN and Bev), etc
BTW....IMO, DN is 100x better than Bev...much more and better channels.. |

I am with ya on DN being better, but wife let me buy 3 gigs of ram and new video card if I let her switch to bellvu for her soap.
btw. how do i get rid of the current dish bin and get the new bv one. sorry i am a complete noob. |

U don't need to change bins...all bins have BOTH DN and Bev capabilities..
BTW...this is NOT a flame war....nalin has been here for over 1 year giving out BOGUS info and killing many people's receivers...which she did again today!....we all know her and her ways, but she has the newbies convinced and fooled......I believe she is a mole for DN and Bev, and does this on purpose!...and she will NEVER admit her OBVIOUS Bogus postings!...her ego is too big for that too... |

Having a tad of a problem here...hope someone can help. I have a dish with 2 LNB...one is sighted for 110 and the other for 119.... I can pull in 110 fine but I am not able to find 119. It should right beside it... any suggestion will help |

BEV PPV/Po*rn Issues..
As some of you already know, BEV ppv/po*rn are currently having issues. Please note first of all that new keys will not solve the issue as it has to do with a re-vamped rev 248. Not too much is known at this point but what is known is fixes are the only solution for the issue for devices that have been affected.
Testing Devices affected:
- Some FTA
- Atmega
- Some EMU/ROM
Please be patient, this new counter measure isn't a big thing. Yet..
