Hi, I was looking at the TH-42PX77U (http://reviews.cnet.com/flat-panel-tvs/panasonic-th-42px77u/4507-6482_7-32317315 .html?tag=sub)from Panasonic. However, someone told me this TV requires an AV reciever. I don't want the home theater experience. Is there any 42" (or larger) Panasonic TV that will hook up to my generic, HD, Direct TV reciever?? |

You don't need a receiver with ANY TV. Whoever told you that is full of crap. |

The only thing yo'll need is your DTV HD receiver straight to your Panasonic HDTV along with your HD service.
This Panasonic is great for this price. |

i have a panasonic PW7 and my tunerboard is dead, how do I connect it to a normal DVD/VCR combo unit for a very good picture and sound output????? |
