So Comcast put me on a nice promotion for a year after giving is a cable card which got Comcast at our house 5 time to try and fix it. Turns out they just don't work......
Anyways we have two scientific explorer 8300HDC recorder boxes, (they don't have the card slot on front). I noticed a USB slot at the front panel and wanted to know what I could do with this port and a laptop PC. I was hoping to get the recorded shows onto my laptop if that can be done.
So, whats the USB port for and what software do I need to use it?
