Bev is not working. It is down for everyone. Regardless of how many times you enter in the proper keys, it will not work. Fix your dish so it is aiming another satellite other then Bev. DN is working fine. Keys have been perfect all day.
If you do not believe me, enter them in and see for yourself. For DN make sure the autoroll is off before entering in the new keys. Otherwise, it will only work for a few minutes.

Helen, if you are using the BEV, and it says scrambled or bad channel, than it is because BEV is down for everyone. Best bet is to repoint your dish to DN |

MIKE, do not buy a Pansat 2500a. This receiver will be running out of space soon and will not be able to handle anymore bins. Try buying something alittle more advanced. Like a Viewsat Extreme or Viewsat Ultra |

i know the system is down,i can't get the box to turn on after i downloaded a new bin from my pc.all i get are short flashing lines that are moving across the box front where the numbers are supposed to be. |

i un plugged the pansat from my tv, brought to my pc ,downloaded a new bin ,plugged it back to my tv and i had no number in the front of the box, just a flashing little line, i can't bring up the menu or anything the box is not responding |

well you might have just downloaded the bin 208 on the older boot file which was B70. so as I said download the B75 file first and then download bin 208 once again... |

yes download Boot_2700A(b75)_(07)0310 first and then you also have to download X-87BL_070816_B75_208_api and that should get your box up and running.... |

future-fta.info you will have to register there for free and then you can download the file from "pansat 2700 A/E" section
after downloading it to your computer dont forget to unzip the file before puting in onto your receiver and turn autoroll ON after its done let it autoroll and you will be good to go.....GOOD LUCK!!!! |

the best ones out there right now is viewsat ultra with the best support....but I wouldnt buy anything right now because there are rumours that FTA might be dead FOREVER!!!! don't mean to scare you but I wouldn't get anything right now because BEV is down and DN will follow what BEV just did so just have some paitience and be happpy with munual key entry! |

I have asked this question this morning and Nalin gave ma partial answer but i was thinking that you may now better
I have pansat 2700A (original not clone) with the latest bin which is X-87BL_070816_B75_208_api.zip. I mam trying to place the keys for C1 01 which is Globecast however i have all zeros for the key entries (key data) (0) and i am not able to add any other values i click on the remote control the objects are moving but they stay zero and cannot be chaned. Before loading the latest bin i was able to change the values. Any help would be appreciated.

Where do you go to download the new keys onto your USB. We have a viewsat ultra and are totally new to this. Right now we have it pointing to BEV but I guess that's down so we are going to try to get the DN keys. Can you download keys on a MAC? |

press ENTER on any channel. then look at the bottom right hand corner. the RED line is the the signal. if the is NO signal there then try reseting your pansat. if the problem still continues contact your DN provider. |

BEV is mostly down, according to reports.
GC is available With Pansat 2700 and others
Most receivers have a good autoroll BIN. It is working well with DN but currently not working with BEV. We do not know how long this may last and whether DN will follow suit. Hold off buying a new receiver as "The one" has already cautioned.
Fortec Ultra and Pansat 2500A and its clones have BIN 292T, which works up to a point. Let the keys roll in and when it goes to a second round after 300% or 450%, go to Nagra2 and change the first number in both Key 00 and key 01. You will probably not need to update other numbers.
Switching off at the back for 30-40 seconds is good for getting apicture. The 294T BIN at installation gives current date as 01/01/2006. You must change it ot current, and set the time and time zone as well.
Please do not keep on asking for new keys. If there is key change it gets posted here usually BEFORE it is posted at the key getting sites. This simply because people who have active autoroll BINs see the download of keys and immediately post here. So read and check instead of posting.
BEV is mostly down. There are a couple of threads on the forum about this subject - go and read there. |

Get the file on your computer. UNZIP it. put the unzipped version into your USB drive and then load it into your viewsat ultra following the manual instructions. |

I have a Pansat 2500a and have not changed the file for I can't remember when and other than set the default key and put in the DN numbers its just keeps on ticking..so far.} |

BEV is now working back to 100%
In Dish the key that is active is currently 01 that is why yours are working too.

Pansat 2700a - i have new keys everything seems to be set, but it continues to scan for a picture over and over ("Wait for Picture!!!(450%))
any ideas?? |

Hi all...
Howcome BEV is back on 100% ? I'm extremely glad, but I would like an expert to tell un the full story.
Is this only a tease from Bell, and that the real storm is coming ?
I've read many boards about Bell changing their systems, so what's going on then ?

jeff kusak, it's been said that the little bev blackout caused even bev subscribers to get hit, so there's probably been a glitch in their new system. |

ok I see...
I presume the new system of BEV will be a softwear change, I find it a litle far fetched that it could be a hardwear change meaning that every customer of Bell's will have to change their unit.
So if my hunch is correct, do you think we'll be able to bypass this new system change ?
