Got a new VS ultra in today, when I do a channel scan it loads the channels in twice. Anyway I scan, blind auto whatever. So I decided to delete excess channels. After I get 3 or 4 deleted it just locks up and I have to switch off and on at the back. I've done a factory reset and rescanned several times.
Anyone heard of this, or a cure?

Be sure MENU--OPTIONS--AUTO TP = OFF or the deleting might cause the box to freeze or lockup

Blind scan will give you doubles, so use regular scan. If you're using regular channel scan and are still getting doubles make sure the correct lnb is matched to the proper satellite profile. Also, make sure your dish is properly aimed.

If you scan both sats at the same time on auto it picks up most. Then I had to scan again individually and it had all channels in and no doubles.
thanks guys!
