I just moved into a new house and the previous own before me had dishnet. He left the dish 500dp on the roof pointed at 110 and 119 with very strong signal. I hooked up my viewsat reciver to it but I am missing alot of channels. Could anyone help me and let me no why this is happening and how can I fix it. Thanks |

Check your switch,the sw 21 switch for 110 and 119. change cables...
Try a blind scan and then a manual scan, and see if you get more channels. |

Not for long bruce I am sure Dish is going to follow what BEV has done so...you can have some PPV for a while but not for long.. |

which sat is the better one to point at i found 110 trying to finde sat 119 get lots of channels but if i rember right i will only see the live ppv 1 or 2 days after am i right or rong thanks |

119 has a lot more pay channels but 110 has more PPVs. Live sports ppv are on both sats, well most of the time. If only one carries it, it will be 110. And 110 will have all the reruns of the live ppv. |

a lot of the ppvs are on 110, some of the live events like wrestling and boxing are 119. |

kardary, it's a widescale problem. The BEV channels are gone for now until hopefully a fix comes along. Everybody has lost BEV. You'll have to watch regular tv for a while. |
