ive just purchased a samsung LE40R8 40" LCD im setting the picture to how i want it but it keeps changing back to the tv's default picture setting after about 20-30 mins of viewing and it also does it if you turn the tv off then back on i cant see that there's a save picture setting option and im doing everything the manual says
PLEASE HELP !!!

If you just purchased the TV it should be covered under warrantee. It sounds like the backup battery is faulty however very difficult to know what the problem without first hand tests.

- I would contact Samsuck tech service
- I would look for reset on user's guide to factory default followed by retry save color adjustments. In many cases it could be a subprogram error awaiting for a reset.
- Let me know outcome of this.
