the jtag is hooked up correctly this i'm for sure when i hit detect iget 0xffffff or 0x00000 the tag i have is bought from greendish quad mode |

the tag has 7 top pins and 3 bottom pins do you think if i took wires of from pogo pins and connected straight to board i would get a read |

I would think so, you just need to know which go to which pin on the TSOP |

Make sure you IRD is plugged in but not turned on. What type of Jtag do you have - a build-your-own? or a solderless type? Does your IRD have an open port for JTAG? Heres a JTag tutorial http://www.bellexpress.vu/jtag_ht.html#boxkeys good luck |

i have an unbuttered universal jtag 3100 .010 ird jtag slot on bottom of ird and sorry my jtag has only 2 pins on bottom of jtag not 3 and 7 pins on top i've gone to bell.vu and can't get any good help |
