Keys are security measure used by providers. Usually there are two lines of 16 two digit hex numbers. They are referred to as Key 00 and Key 01. Both the lines have to be entered in full and have to be present for the receiver to work, so in reality, there is nothing like Active and passive keys. The last changed key is usually denoted Active key.
Autoroll in a software BIN started about 9-10 months ago. In this the new software allows the new keys to “roll in”, so there is no need for manual entry. There have been many changes in the way the autoroll work and every time such a change occurs the old autoroll software stops working well. The last such change was about 12 days ago and in most receiver we have a “fix” i.e. a change in the BIN, such that the autoroll works well. Not so with the Pansat 2500A, a receiver widely used. We still need to install the keys manually. There is some relief however. With the 293 and 293T BIN, the keys do roll in whether you have the autoroll set to off or on. However, the first digit in both key 00 and key 01 gets changed – the top bit get inverted and you have the first digit shifted by 8. If therefore, you allow to let the keys roll in, and change the first digit of first number (both key 00 and key01) by adding or subtracting 8, you will get the correct key, which you can save and watch TV.
Why has Pansat or BL not implemented this change so far? – I really do not know.
Why are the keys changing so often? – it is DN and BEV’s decision to keep on putting their own security measure as often as they wish. |

Hello folks I need some help: I have ariza 700 and I am using 295eEU bin file.
I am using the following active key :
00: B8 7C AA A2 23 57 2D 44 FF 91 9C E6 39 53 50 9C
For some reason the first digit of the key(B8) is keep changing into 38. I have tried different setting :
1) AUTOROLL/EMU: ON or OFF
but the screen is keep updating the data. The data update goes to 500 % and start again.
when the data updated the first digit of key will change again.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

ariza 700: Read my long post just above yours.
Ignore the long wait. Keep autoroll off. when your picture goes, turn autoroll off, switch off and on at the back, and wait for about 1 minute.
The keys will have rolled in but the first digit is changed in both key 00 and key 01. Change it by subtracting or adding 8. Turn autoroll off and watch TV. |

293 and 293T BINS are for Pansat 2500A and Pansat 2500 clones repectively. They are NOT for 2700A.
For Pansat 2700A you should have upgraded to Boot 75 a few months ago and you should now be using BIN 205 on top of it. The instructions/procedure has to be exact, and you should go to one of the following sites and get the Instructions, the B75 file, the 27.02 loader, factory BIN and the latest 205 BIN. You must follow instructions precisely as posted.
All files have to be unzipped before use.
If your receiver is a 2700A clone you should use the clone safe 205 Tivo BIN.

I am surprised that the DBPSW-070801X BIN for Viewsat extreme is not working for you. All reports indicate that it should work, immediately after installation into your receiver. Check the version in your receiver to see if it is the one you have installed |

sean akins: megasat yt6688 is a pansat 2500 clone.
You are probably changing to the latest keys but not changing the first digit of the other set of keys.
If you have installed 293T BIN, the keys will autoroll with autoroll on and at time with autoroll off.
They will not work till you do a little change. On the first digit od Key 00 and key 01 add or subtract 8. After making the change save it and turn autoroll off. If you are not sure about how to add/subtract 8 to a hex number, somebody has put out a table for you to use in this thread only recently. |
