Can anyone help me with this?

Trying to figure out how I can take my Tivo Series 2 (Single Tuner) and hook it up with my Digital Cable Box.

I am ***HOPING*** to split the signal and Tivo one show and watch another. I have the RF splitter but it does not seem to work.

Do I need something else for digital cable, as that was for analog?
