I have a Sony TV - number is PTVKP57WS5. It's a 57 inch and was purchased in 2002.
It just started this. We turn on the tv, and after a short time the picture will have a light green background, with green lines. The picture then turns completly green and the TV then shuts itself off. Then the light on the front flashes 8 times. We think this is some kind of error message.
Any ideas as to what the problem is and how expensive this will be?
