If any of you get local channels via Dish Network, could you post your city and your overall experience with the picture quality? Is it similar to the rest of the channels in the lineup, or do you notice a lot of extra compression? Is the service reliable?

As satellite bandwidth becomes more and more precious, I would imagine there's a pretty noticeable difference. Just conjecture, though.

What's the real story?

Just saw the Madison, WI locals. Not good. Very poor signal strength, even when the Superdish is perfectly tweaked. (119 and 110 are fine, but 105--which carries the locals--comes in at a signal strength of 66.) This could be a real problem.
