I'm having serious problem and nopbody has been able to help me. Please please listen....
I have Dish Network. In my Channel Edit section, I just have old pin. I know that I need Second pin to input the codes (I know what to do then). But can someone tell me a step by step approach of how to get that second pin showing on Menu's Channel Edit screen. I hope someone can help and solve my problem. |

i recently lost all he signal and everytime i change channels or any thing, it says Scram. Bad. Channel..
is their a new keys for this?

Jalaj, just unplug the wire from the port and try plugging after a few seconds. It may work... |

Hi LK, I have loaded factory bin and selected English. That makes Parental Control and Channel Edit unaccessible. Now I went to Antenna Setup and have started Echo 3 KU TP download. After which I will do the Echo 7KU download. Am I on the right track.... |

Did u allow the AUTOROLL to input the new keys?
BTW...NEVER unplug a wire from "the port" when powered on...and a RESET is a power OFF, wait 2 minutes, power ON using, rear switch fixes some problems, but NOT key changes!
and a "pin" and KEYS are NOT the same! |

DJ: For the "second Pin" to show up in the menu, you have to scan at least one satellite.
When you scan Echo 7, make sure you have it on a different DisEqC port. |

DJ...to access "parental Controls" , U must perform a scan which then inputs channels into your receiver... otherwise there is NO need for parental controls UNLESS U have channels scanned and inputted...hope u understand that logic..
and u will need the latest bin too!...after the factory bin! |

Thanks, I had done that... the problem I am facing is only for international channels such as Globo, that searching message keeps comming back very oftem. All the other channels are fine.

luqman: SET SETMAX AND TVASA are on the same TP
12470 (H) on Echo 3. With the viewsats and Sonicview, you often do not get them on a blind scan first time.
You will usually succeed with the scan of the single TP as above. |

Hi...I have a Pansat 3500sd. It was working fine until yesterday. I put in the new keys hoping that will make it work, however no luck. Even though autoroll was on.
I tried to turn autoroll off and enter the keys manually, still no luck. I tried default keys, autoroll off/on. Entered new keys and still no luck. I have been reading other posts. Do you think I have to reload the bin and if so, do I do a factory reset, load bin 80 and the latest bin? Can you tell me what I can do. Thanks |

bin 80 is not a TV watching bin...its a BOOT file...U have much to learn and have NOT done your homework...since U have a Pansat, go to www.future-fta.info ....to their forums and join free!...and if U do NOT, then don't bother coming back here! |

LK...Thanks for pointing me in the right direction, however is your tone necessary? You can tell by the number of posts that I don't ask very many questions because I mostly read about issues. If I would of asked "what are the new keys" when clearly it was posted two messages above, I can maybe understand your tone. Nevertheless, I just asked a simple question that you probably could of answered without being condescending. I know about the bin file and maybe I confused the context. al7bar*tk has good instructions and better cautions using B80 and loading the latest BIN on top it. I think it is BIN 319 but you should check.
future-fta.info also has good Pansat section and you should look at it too. |

Nalin, I used to get the missing channels on echo 1.2......and i did try to scan just the TP...the TP also starts updating itself if i put the channel on.......but nothing comes up.
when i scan a TP it doesn't ask me to enter any TP....so how can i scan just this TP on echo 3? pls help.... |

Bev is provider ID 0901 and also provider Id 0905 and 0906 for special events.
DN is proivder ID 0101.
The keys are different for each of the 4 ID listed above and each ID has two sets of keys - Key 00 and Key 01. Each Key is sixteen 2-digit numbers. |

Hi Nalin, you are great.
Could you please guide me with links and files so that I can recover my Pansat 2700A? Can you imagine there is only one field for Nagravision2 key either 01 or 00 and that is also only if I change it. I am talking about DN keys.
Now the receiver is not working. Please let me have all of the files that can completely fix my receiver. |

Nalin: Please read this post in connection with my earler post, just above this one.
When I turn the receiver on, the little black screen on it shows "b-75" moving on it for a couple of seconds and then the word "on" appears on it. But when I go to move to channels, I see the message "scrambled on bad channel".
Not only that, but when I go to Nagravision2, I see only one field for key 01. When I try to switch to 01, I can't. Please suggest some solution. |

Priya: Do a Blind scan to get all the channels. After that sometimes the SET,SETMAX group is missing. In that case, do a separate TP scan of 12470(h).

When you leave the factory bin on there, does that do anything, or is it the same? Did it turn on and off while you uploaded a bin? Explain more.

I installed the factory bin and after then I installed bin 293T As a result, the reciever board is working and I see the chanels numers in the board of the receiver. But there is nothing in the TV. what I see in the TV is similar to what you see when the Pansat is off and the TV is on (just the noise). Please help! |

Hello Nalin:
After having gone through the scheme of steps suggested by you earlier, I am finally able to see all the channels. But once again, the DN provider id 0101 has only one key 00 available and the other 01 is not accessible.
Could you please suggest something? |

Hi Nalin, a few days ago, I had asked a question on not having second pin for loading the keys. I did factory settings and then scanned both Echo 3 KU and Echo 7 KU but still no second pin. You suggested :"For the "second Pin" to show up in the menu, you have to scan at least one satellite. When you scan Echo 7, make sure you have it on a different DisEqC port."
My channels for both 3KU and 7KU still don't work. Can you tell me what I'm doing wrong. Should I rescan in factory settings? What port should I keep as DisEqC. You may think I am dumb, but truly, I'm not so tech savvy in this matter....please help... |

Echo 3 and Echo 7 can only be scanned using TWO SEPARATE dishes. You have to align the Dishes for 119W (echo 7) and Echo 3 (61.5W). I usually recommend using Port 1 for 119W, Port 2 for 110W and Port 4 for Echo 3. |

Nalin, my dish is aligned for 119W (echo 7) and Echo 3 (61.5W). However, even after rescanning, the channels don't come nor does the Second pin show in Channel Edit screen of Menu. DisEqCM for Echo 7KU is 2 and for Echo 3KU is 3 |
