Well looks like i found the right place to ask this question. I have a Samsung 46" HD Plasma, that silver Motorola DVR v3, and some various other items. I was running them off component cables and everything was fine, but i found some HDMI cables online pretty cheap so i bought them. Well i rewired everything with HDMI and now the ONLY channel that actually fills the entire screen is HBO HD, every other channel has bars along the sides and is in 4x3 ratio instead of 16x9. I have the cable box and the tv at 1080p res. It didnt do this when i ran it with component cables everything filled the screen. Any thoughts?
