I am looking into buying this tv

I am pretty clueless when it comes to this but I bought a projection tv awhile back and it was pretty much a waste of money, so I don't want to make the same mistake twice. Let me know the pros and cons and if its worth it (it's actually 1699.99 in store) I will be using an xbox 360 with HD DVD drive and PS3 on it mostly will this tv get the most from these systems ?
