I am going crazy trying to transfer the video i have recorded from the mini dv tape down to my computer. I have tried many programs such as windows movie maker, pinnacle studios, adobe premiere elements. No matter what i do i can't seem to find the camera when i connect it to my firewire pci port.
I am hoping that someone can help me to find out what the problem is?

Depending on your operating system and dificulty you are encountring yo need to list what yo got and type of problem yo R having.
It is not a one switch transfer If U R using windows 98 you need to install a driver but if you are using windows XP firewire should be detected as you turn on camera.
