I have a new Sony Bravia (KDL 26S2030) connected to an existing Sony VCR/DVD player (SLV D950G/I) which has always worked perfectly. With the new TV, though, when playing videos the TV screen goes blank for 2 or 3 seconds at varying intervals, but the sound continues. In an hour-long programme this can happen up to 25 times. The really baffling thing is that the same tapes played on a different VCR do not blank the screen, and the same VCR on a different TV also do not blank the screen. So is the VCR at fault or the TV? And why the inconsistency. Any comments will be gratefully received. Nibor 37
