Lizzie: Keys are always posted for Nagravision 2. Nagra 1 is not used any more.
Read my post and it tells you clearly which provider ID to put the keys in.
There is key morphing going on in Key 00, so althoug Key 01 is "Active", you need proper keys in Key 00. |

These keys are working fine. I have a pansat 2700a.

On the autoroll option, remember to leave dishnet autoroll -> ON, and the rest OFF. This is what was driving me crazy, so I hope this helps someone else.
We must help each other when we can. I know Nalin has helped me many times.

I have Keysoftware autochange... since 2 months my autochange has been working fine... But today dont know why it did not work... I had to enter the keys manually...
can anyone tell me please what could be the defect and how to solve so that it wont happen again.

Can somebody help me, I have panset2500A, put new keys and is working, but when pass aprox 3 to 5 mins keys are changing back and dont work.
Put keys back, but happen again.

Rhonda do this....turn your autoroll off enter in new keys again...if still no picture turn your receiver off from the back for 30 seconds than turn it back on...so your little one can have some toons to watch... |

Problems with new Keys. Some golden truths.
1. Keys are the same for all receivers.
2. Keys as posted here for Nagravision 2 - NOT Nagravision 1.
3. There are different keys for DN (Provider ID 0101), BEV (provider ID 0901), and Globecast (Provider ID C101). Some receivers might use 0001 for DN and 0801 for BEV.
4. Key 00 as posted is the same as Key 86. Key 01 as pOsted is the same as Key 96.
5. Some boxes split up Key 00 into two sections of 8 numbers (sometimes as Key 10/11) and key 01 into two sections of 8 numbers (sometimes as Key 20/21)
6. Manual Key entry should be done with autoroll off. It is preferrable to do a "set default keys" before manual entry. You would then start with a clean slate.
7. Expereinced users of manual key entry, usually change only Key 00 or key 01 as the new key is posted. This will usually work. But if you do "Set default keys" or "Factory reset" you will need to enter both sets, i.e. key 00 and key 01.
8. "key morphing" usually is done by DN and BEV on the inactive keys. So always check both sets of keys if you do not have picture.
9. Almost all the latest BINs have autoroll. If you have the latest BIN and the autoroll is on, you may want to leave it like that for even an hour for the new keys to roll in.
10. The simple process of turning off the switch at the back and turning it on after 30-40 seconds sometimes solves the picture problem.
11. Receivers of different types have different instructions for manual key entry, and for turning autoroll off.
12. If you do factory reset or load a new BIN, you should check the user settings and resore them. In particular, always check the clock, date and time zone and set it correctly.
13. Some newer receivers have a USB port. This is not for communicating with the USB port of your computer, but for loading your receiver using a USB drive. This is the preferred method in those receivers, e.g. Viewsat Ultra, Sonicview 4000.
14. There are many sites where you will find latest BIN files, instructions for your receiver foR key entry and for uploading a BIN. Refer to these sites for detailed information and for downloading a new BIN. Here are a few sites. This list is by no means exhaustive.

Nalin - need your expert advise on this one...
I have panset2500A, put new keys and is working, but when pass aprox 3 to 5 mins keys are changing back and dont work.
Put keys back, but happen again.
I tried turning Autoroll option OFF but that doesn't work for me. I dont get any picture even if i turn the receiver off using the back switch..
Please let me know if you know the fix..

Bhaumik: You need to do a factory reset and reload the BIN. Before you do the reset, note down your user setup and the details of satellites you are scanning including details of DiseqC settings.
After loading the BIN again, you will need to restore everything including the clock, time zone and ate and then rescan.
For your information, new BINs are out for all pansats and pansat clones. For 2500s, I have been recommending the BINs ending with a T which are clone safe. The latest is 293T. Use the serial version – not the jtag version.

Bhaumik: with the 290T, I also found that loading an older BIN such as 280T or 281T and then loading the latest on top it helped. |

If your autoroll is not working then i suggest you people download the latest bin file that came out yesterday? For all pansat receivers, new bins are out and they are on future-fta dot info |

All of the new files for pansats are tested and working great, so if you don't want to put in the keys manually i would suggest you flash your receivers with the new files that came out. Its not just autoroll fix. Its scans super fast as well. so ya its a great quick fix. |

V: The BIN files for Pansat 2500 clones as posted at the CCC site are always posted in twos. The serial load is the one we would normally use with BL updater 1.4 and striaght RS232 cable.
The other file is for J-tagless installation, for which you can get instructions at many sites but is rarely needed. |
