HI i have charter digital cable using a motorola cable box dct 2524 and i just aquired a hauppauge wintv hvr 1600 for my computer. This is a internal tv tuner. Now when i watch digital charter cable on my Television i set the tv to channel 3 and then change the channel with the cable box. When i use the hauppauge I am not able to pick up that one channel (usually channel 3) so i can just set the tv tuner program to channel 3 and then change channels with my cable box. The only way i can watch is if i connect the cable tv wire straight to my computer i can watch all the channels but I want to have digital cable and the menu/show timings etc feature so hence I need someone to tell me how to make my hauppauge pick up that one default broadcasting channel of my cable box (usually by default is ch. 3) so i can set my tv tuner program in my computer to channel 3 and then just change channels on my cable box like I do with my TV
