Hi guys! I've got a problem. A week ago a watched a movie on a DVD-R and it worked perfectly (as it always does). Today I tried to watch a normal DVD and the player showed me the message "error"! I tried another dvd...and there was the same problem: "error". I put again the DVD-R in and it worked! What the hell is the problem??? Does somebody know a solution? Thx... |

I do know exactly what the problem Consumer DVD-R's are not reliable media they are not as good as Commercial DVDs. I do test and find manufacturing problems with commercial discs as well This is what causes theses isues on DVD-Rs: - Burner beam slightly off centered - Cheap media also got off centered tracks - Player with single beam unable to recover off track target layer What you can do: - Copy DVD-R to another DVD-R media - Use brands like: Verbatim, Memorix, Prodisk - Use known good burner King |
