Active means basically to the user, such as yourself, that its the latest key that was changed..its the MOST recent key that was changed/active...I could give U a bunch of technical jargon but for all intents and purposes, active is just as I stated for U.. |

If your receiver was working well and has stopped suddenly, make sure it has the lkatest kesy, and try to reset it by turning the switch off at the back and on again |

JPZ: Normal Provider ID for BEV is 0901. However, in January and early February, BEV used ID 0905 and 0906 for special events and certain PPVs. This was reported in some forums and there are different keys for that.
In Pansat 2500 and 2700 clone software (and in many other receivers) you can add extra IDs.
Menu/Prental control/second Pin/0000
Autoroll off - Nagravision 2/Provider Id.
Right scroll thtough 0101, 0901, C101 and when you see FFFF, manually enter 0905 or 0906 as appropriate and enter the respective Key 00 and Key 01 for each.
So that people do not get confused, I have used the word "special" for these two IDs.
By the way, there is a Globcast (ID C101) breakthrough expected soon. |

Makaveli : I am presuming it was working OK before. Do the following:-
1. Correct date/time and time zone.
2. Autoroll off.
3. Switch off at the back of receiver, wait 40 seconds and turn it on.
4. If not successful, do "Set default Keys"
5. Enter appropriate Nagravions 2 keys - both Key 00 and Key 01. The do item 3 again.
6. If not successful, try BIN 289T
7. If you do not want International channels, do item 1 above, and install BIN 290T, keep autoroll on. Also do Item 3 after install.
If keys do not roll in, try manual key entry with autoroll off. |

jose: The keys have not changed since I last posted them above - Look about 7 posts above yours. Keys are the same for ALL receivers. I have given further instructions 3 posts above. After you have done all that, and you are still not seeing TV, then post the details of your BIN (Menu/system info) for further help. |

Here is Nalin Nydas experience regarding those channels:

Unfortunately just those important Indain channels do not come through nicely with this autoroll BIN. Missing would be
ZEETV, ZCINE, SET, SETMX, B4U, SPORTS
I had to change back to 289T. It does NOT have autoroll, so when the keys change you will have to manually update. There were a lot of freezes and system resets before, but by keeping the autoroll and auto update off, I have had very few glitches, except for having to manually enter keys.
When you try to upload 289T, you might have difficulties. I got round it by first uploading 280T and then 289T. |

yo nalin its not just me, seems as tho a couple people is havin trouble outta of 2500. tha channels arent comin in like they should. to me it seems as tho people havin the wrong keys or sumthin. it keep sayin waiting for pic. and the quality and level is extremely high |

Makaveli: All I can suggest is that you start afresh with 280T or factory BIN, then load 289T and do autoroll and autotp off, set default keys. If you are happy to rescan, do a factory reset, and make sure you get all the parameter put in including time/date and zone.
Then enter the keys and save and switch off and on. I think you know the drill, but possibly you were hasty somewhere. |

It's NOT down. I had the same problem. Turn OFF your receiver from the back and turn it back ON. And make sure your keys are correct. |

For quite sometime can someone tell why American Channels are not coming like ABC, NBC CNN PBS and many more..Only international Channels do come like some Indian, Korean, Arabic and Japanese.} |

hi folks! I have a Bell expressvu 4100 receiver and Sony DVD Recorder. I am trying to record programs when i am sleeping by creating events. I schedule recording from bell receiver and DVD Recorder. Bell Receiver turns on by itself but DVD won't. Please either reply, or give me a forum name when I can go and ask this question. Thanks. |

Hello To All,
I am using a CS8000. I was trying to configure a channel list. It was recommended that I delete old channels and rescan. Once I did, I have never recovered all the channels that I had. What am I doing wrong? I am new to all of this. Thank you! |
