It's a 27 " Magnavox TV about 10 years old. The Stereo, SAP and Smartsound words come on at the bottom of the screen where regular broadcast information usually appears and I can't read the information for about five seconds until the smartsound etc. wording goes away. Is there anyway to disable the wording ( smartsound, stereo, SAP ) without turning off the functions.
