I cannot get the screen where you change the settings of the cable box to appear on my Panasonic Plasma (TH-42PX60U). Right now I have to hook up a conventional TV to look at the settings and then re-hook the box up to the plasma. There are some settings I want to play with and I am trying to avoid lugging the other TV down two flights of stairs or discontecting a bunch of cords to move the box. Any hints to get the screen to appear would be greatly appreciated. |

YOU MAY NOT HAVE AN VIDEO CABLE HOOKED UP. MY YAMAHA YSP-1100 HAS A VIDEO CABLE THAT NEEDS TO BE HOOKED UP TO SEE THE ON SCREEN MENU. |

The box is fully connected, video and sound, to the flat screen. TV is on and the box is off then I press MENU on remote all per instructions but no screen appears. |

the cable company will come out at no charge. it's there equipment problem. they are "usually" pretty good.. |
