Nalin I had the 289t for my pansat 2500 clone before and I was about to download the same bin again because all of my bev channels were saying scrambled even after rescanning, but when I tried to put the 289t I realized the file wasn't writing and I looked down at my reciever and saw that it was faintly blinking. The reciever isn't turning on anymore, but just keeps faintly blinking in the front. |

Hus: It seems you may need jtagging. However you could try this:
Use BL updater 1.4 and BIN 280T or 281T. Get ready with receiver off. Get two hands ready and
Turn on receiver and immediately click on mouse to upload.
If you are successfulm in uploading the old BIN, do the same with 289T. |

Menu,..parental control
old pin, new pin, confirm,..then enter password again on second pin 0000
Now your in "cas system" page
scroll down too nagravision 2,..click ok, new screen
provider id---> 01 01
Key number;;;; 00 [next time keys changes,..this should be arrowed too 01]
Key Data.........enter the 16 pairs of keys here [check before exiting their correct]
clcik "OK" on remote a few times too save,...exit,exit, exit, exit..if you entered keys correctly,..you should have tv.
Exactly same steps for bev key entry,..only provider id window must say.... 09 01 00...highlight area and just left or right arrow..Good luck |

I am new and I messed up bad!!! I deleted the old codes, is there anyway I can get them back??? In Nagra Dish 01 01 00 there are 5 rows of 9 pairs, and in 00 01 00 there are 4 rows of 9 pairs, and the codes are 16 pairs all together, how do I know which ones to change??? HELP!!! |

Nagravision 1 does not exist any more - so ignore it
Nagravision 2 requires two sets of 16 two digit hex numbers.
Key 00 is same as Key 86 in some receivers.
Key 01 is same as Key 96 in some receivers.
Key 00 is same as Key 10/11 (two halves) in some receivers.
Key 01 is same as Key 20/21 (two halves) in some receivers.
Keys are the same for all receivers, is you follow the above. |

Yash Matharu : Many people in this forum and in other forums have noticed some Indian channels missing on Echo3 with DN_290T BIN. I also had the same experience. I changed back to 289T and got the Indian channels back. Sometimes uploading the older BIN is difficult, then you may try to upload a 280T BIN and then the 289T BIN.
If you have to go back to 289T BIN, you will have to accept occasional freezes and resets and the absence of a satisfactory autoroll. Small price to pay for getting ZEETV, ZCINE, SET, SETMX and the SPORTS channels for cricket.
There are also reports of the same on 148W. |

sharon wells: Entering keys manually in any receiver is best done after turning autoroll off and optionally doing a "Set default keys" is such facility available.
You should enter both sets - Key 00(86) and Key 01(96).
After entry, it is often necessary to do a switch off at the back of the receiver for 30-40 seconds and then turn on. |

sharon wells : Where you see 00 (for Key 00), you go down and enter the keys. Then you go back up, and right arrow to see 01 in the window where you were seeing 00. You then go down and enter Key 01 data.
I usually save at Key 00 and Key 01. |

BEV Keys are ok.
I had the same problem as Slam. I own a CS 5000.
After I entered the keys, nothing happened. I did autoscan to which still nothing happened.
I left it alone, and was searching other sites to see why I was not getting my bev signal back. An hour later, without me touching it, the signal came back by itself.
Those having same problem, leave it on and alone. It will eventually come back. |

i give up i put the bev new keys but always the same (scrambled or bad channel )i only can watch the bev free channels . |

hello i need help folks i got a pansat 2500a and got the latest bin but i get nothingi reset the receiver n unpleged 4 a while but nothing i dida factory setting n re scanned all channels n got the autoroll off n entered the new keys n yet zilch. could someone help me please n thanx n advance. |

Gustavo: If they don't work, try 5 and 6 first and if not successful try 1-6.
1. Set autoroll off
2. do set default keys
3. Enter both Key 00 and Key 01
4. Save. Exit, Exit, Exit, Exit
5. Turn receiver off with switch at back
6. Turn it on after 40 seconds. |

C00LSAT 4000 does not have HD features. HD is new to the FTA world. Probably only last two months.
Look at the specs (and the price) on C00LSAT 8000 for HD TV. |
