I posted the following earlier and I can tell you that it now applies to DN:
This came from another site concerning Bev:

Bev has changed up again to defeat our autorolls, and it appears she's doing so by using a new B-1 routine. More info as we log more stream and can figure it out, but for now turn off autoroll and manually enter the new keys in provider ID 0901 to return your channels.

The new b1 entered the stream today to check the eeprom. There is also some code that is morphed as well; and probably harmful to plastic testers using A/R. More information to come as it will be extremely difficult and dangerous to autoroll with this in the stream if using plastic to include rom 103 |

There are no new bins. B1 just entered the stream. Just load keys manually until new bins come out. |

Nub2fta : Of the three keys the first one you mentioned is for 0901, the one we are all used to.
The other two - BEV is experimenting and using for some special events etc.
The Pansat and clone BINs have facility for entering extra provider IDs. If you right arrow in provider ID (Menu/Parental control/second Pin/Nagra 2) you will go through 0101, 0901, C101 and then you will come to FFFF. You can enter 0905 and the corresponsing keys and 0906 and the ocrresponding keys and perhaps get going with the special PPVs, special sposrts, etc.
A good exercise for a tester. Please report in the forum if you do try. |

sharon wells : There is a new ECM (a bug) put in by BEV, that defeats the autoroll feature in your receiver. Turn the autoroll off and enter thekeys manually.
There is a temporary fix out for it, if you want to upload the new BIN. Also there are new files out to load the Opkeys, if you choose not to manually load the keys. Go to:

Hey guys, quick question.
Why has there been so many new bins in the last few days??
I just got satellite a month ago, and it wasnt working the past week so i changed to BIN 292 with new keys (thanks for the keys by the way). And now it works.... But i see theres 2.93 already!!
Do i have to change it?? is there a problem with 2.92??
Also, since there is no EPG, i cant find any information about what channel the UFC 67 is on this saturday. The one advertised isnt the same channels. I have checked all of my PPV channels and i can only find info about WWE.
By the way, i have an ariza 700, with bin 292, echostar, DN.

Yes you probably want to change to the new bin. The new bin usually fixes problems with the older bin and sometimes the new bin come just before the old bin expires. |

Bruce M: As DN and BEV keep on adding new ECMs (Electronic Counter Measures) the coders keep on updating to newer code to defeat these efforts. It is a tug of war. Yesterday there was a mini-ECM directed solely against the autoroll feature, so you were required to enter the keys manually. If there is a new Ariza file out today, it is probably to counter this latest mini-ECM. |

Thanks Nalin...This is really frusturating...I think i might just get the real thing because....
The past week it works for 10 minutes...then i get a "No Signal!" message...A few hours later works...then no signal again,
I went up...the dish is fine, the direction is fine, theres no snow on it, theres no ice. Wiring is fine. What on earth could this be? I took off work today because i need this up and running saturday night and its so frusturating!!!
How could i be getting this no signal message, madness!!! |

Taking time off work is very expensive. If you must change your receiver, I suggest Sonicview SV4000.
Look up the specs yourself. It is about US$188. |

Trinity: I had sent you a PM yesterday.
It seems you have a genuine Pansat with Tivo codes. You will have to load the factory BIN (GTloader or 27.01) and then load 292 (27.01 loader). There is, I think a new BIN 295 out or about due today. Both semiofficial sites are talking about a new BIN today. However, traffic there is still very heavy.
You must know how to or be prepared to do a Jtag.
When you are at one of the sites, pick up instructions to do an upload. In the instructions you will find the crucial area where you are about to switch on the receiver to load. I often find that the jtagless method of switching on the receiver and click on the mouse almost simultaneously a better and almost foolproof method. |

Thanks Nalin. I must have missed your message yesterday. Here is what is going on on my panset. The Indian channels seems to freeze on me every now and then, for which I believe I need a new bin.
I had made the connection from my PC to my Panset and also downloaded the 292 bin and saved it on my hard drive. I could not open up the file as I believe I did not have the right program for it (I believe it is called uploader??)
Anyway, long story short, I need help to get the program transferred on my panset. I went to the other sites and the info there is quite overwhelming for a newbie like me. Your help would be greatly appreciated |

hey,, well ok here's the first thing to try for your ariza 700, caus i got the same reciever, first, unplug everything out except the power, use the null cabels to plug it into the comp, reset it, on the back, first put it to off, and then on, make sure you have the right bin and loader, and then just find the bin in the loader and click download and wait.. |

Trinity: The sites are diffiecult to get to.
1. Get the uploaders - GT loader and 27.01
2. Get the original factory BIN of 2700A
3. Get the current latest 2700A BIN - the 292 is now obsolete since yesterday.
4. Make sure you have the cable (null modem DB9 F/F)
5. Read my last instructions to you carefully.
6. I will PM to you the instructions. |

For those who said key not working like me, do this:
Turn of autoroll
Set default keys
Enter newkyes (the one i said not working)
Save, exit and turn off reciever for 40 seconds
Turn it back one. My's working.

Instructions Setting up Ariza 700 - 01-10-2006

Setting Up Ariza 700 Receiver
Flashing Receiver & Setting up to TV
With the receiver off (back) plug into PC using a NULL MODEM CABLE.
Turn on receiver & follow these instructions.
A) With a NULL MODEM CABLE flash using Ariza 7xx loader v4.03 radio app only and download the (ex.AA1-272 for the 700 or AA2-272 for the 750) bin. Wait until it says download completed. Turn off at the back and remove.
B) Take the R6 Satellite Dish cable and thread it into the IF Input jack on the back of the 700 (Should be top middle on the back of the receiver).
C) The next step depends on the cables you are using.
1) IF hooking up to TV by R6 cable than thread it into the TV out jack than to the
cable jack on the back of your TV.
2) Using RCA cables just plug into proper locations on both the 700 and TV.
3) If using S- Video don’t forget to hook up the audio cables.
(Note: On some models of TV’s if you use RCA or S-video cables, you may need to set TV to video to view the 700 receiver)
Software Installation Setup
Click Menu on the remote and pick English, enter Installation click on Antenna Setup click on Satellite now pick your Satellite’s (see examples below) 91’w, 110’w 119’w set LNB on, LNB to standard, LNB Frequency to 11250 use the remote number pad to put it in if its not already there. Set DISEqC to Sat location on switch or until you have Signal strength coming in. Level yellow & quality green.
Examples A & B
Example A) Setting up just one Satellite 91’w (No DISEqC switch is needed)
1) Satellite pick Nimiq1/ku 91’w
2) LNB power on
3) LNB type Standard
4) LNB Local Freq enter 11250
5) 22khz off
6) DISEqC set to off (If you are using a DISEqC switch make sure the settings on the setup match the cable on the switch. (Check level yellow & quality green)
7) Positioner setting Disable
Now your ready to scan the Sat. Push the green button, now push the green button again. You should see a blue tile set Data off, FTA off, Networks On. When the Sat has been scan exit and enter Parental control, push the i button than 2004 from the remote. Set EMU to on and exit (with the 272 bin this might already be set to on). To set up EPG you have to set the time. Click Menu, user setup, time setup, GMT to -05:00 for EST, Set year, month, day & time exit.
Example B) Setting up 2 Sats. For 91’w & 110’w with DISEqC switch with cables in sat1 and sat3
1) Satellite pick Nimiq1/ku 91’w
2) LNB power on
3) LNB type Standard
4) LNB Local Freq enter 11250
5) 22khz off
6) DISEqC set to 1 (cable is in that spot on the switch) (Check level yellow & quality green).
7) Positioner setting Disable
8) Push small red button to store
Now repeat step 1 to store next Sat
1) Satellite pick Echo 8.6ku 110’w
2) LNB power on
3) LNB type Standard
4) LNB Local Freq enter 11250
5) 22khz off
6) DISEqC set to 3 (cable is in that spot on the switch) (Check level yellow & quality green).
7) Positioner setting Disable
8) Push small red button to store
(More than 2 Sats repeat steps 1 to 8 making adjustments where necessary)
Once you have stored your last Sat push the small green (scan) button on the remote. Then push the small red button (multi-Sat). You should now see all the Satellites that have been stored. Pick the 1st Sat and press ok, a blue tile will come up. Set Data to OFF, set FTA Only to off, set Network to ON & Press ok. It is now scanning that sat. When you see programs found (ex. 385) exit it should take you back to the page that shows all the Sats you stored. If not just go back into Antenna set up and press red button. Pick the next Sat & repeat these steps until all the sats have been scan. When the last Sat has been scan exit and enter Parental control, push the i button than 2004 from the remote. Set EMU to on and exit (272 bin already set to on. 273 and newer bins see note below for setting EMU). To set up EPG you have to set the time. Click Menu, user setup, time setup, GMT to -05:00 for EST, Set year, month, day & time exit.
YOU should now be watching TV.
Please note if your using bin 273 or newer bins go to parental control push the i button than 2004, go to EMU set keycode to on than set to on the sats you have Dn, bev. etc.... |

Ok you should unplug your reicever completely the null cable connected to your pc and see if in the right place Com1,Com2..ect try changing it's postion if it's on top plug it in the second one.
Now connect your null cable to your reciever and then turn it on from the back.

Lucky: I take it you have a DB9 F/F null cable.
If so, you need a USB to Serial 9pin adaptor or cable. Make sure that the serial end of the new adaptpr/cable is male. Attach your null cable ot this end.
Usually drivers for it are loaded with your operating system, but you can check if the drivers are OK, and check which port is the active com port. |

Go to viewsat files download section to get your file. Make sure you get the uploader and instructions file while you are there. Use the cable that came with your receiver or get a null cable DB9 F/F. Make sure you unzip the files before using/installing. |

You have to enter the keys after your load this bin onto your receiver, make sure you turn off autoroll before you enter the keys. |
