I have revived this TV from DEAD and set the convergence up to the point where it looks better then its twin in the second room JUST to find out that HD input has an issue. there is not manual to this Tv so iam guessing here. There is two componant inputs.One HD and one for DVD that i would assume is 480p. The HD side is asking to shut down the HD sourse and reastart it. The DVD side is ok.
Any input would help at this point.

What is a DM module? And how much is it?

DM controls the 1080i and has the micro in it, the last one I worked on had to be around 300.00 and exchanged as a dud from MGA.

So what you saying is that if i set my Dishnetwork IRD to 1080i and hoock up componant vid. cable i should see the pic of somesort?

The DTV or 1080 jack will also run 480. If it doesn't work on either the module has failed. If your getting that message on the screen there is probably an sync issue with it. sorry.

Thank you for you help... ill have to look in to it.
Then the 480 side on DVD input must be using a diff board. Lucky me. hehe
