I bought a great projector, a kick-ars sound system and even made a screen. I just forgot one thing:

I will be playing DVDs, VHS and some lavi from my computer. I don't have any cable/satellite, etc.

What did I forget? I forgot that there is no closed caption decoder in a projector, and being pretty deaf, I need CC.

Yes, I know some (a few) DVDs have subtitles in English, but it seems I'm SOL without the CC.

I'm wondering if anyone knows if the CC decoder system can be taken out of a DV (since that's where it is) and somehow be adapted to the projector to show CC?

I know, "Chance of a snowball - - -"

Thoughts?

Thanks. David
