Hello all,
I am new to forums and I have a question I was hoping someone might be able to help me out with...
I have a Sony FWD-42PV1A/S plasma monitor and I have recently encountered a problem.
When I turn on the TV the light goes from red to purple to blue...but the screen never comes on, You can hear an audible click meaning the TV is trying to go, but an image never comes up.
Anyone know what might be the problem and if it is worth it to get it repaired?
I have had it for about 1 year and a half.

After further investigation of the unit, the fan does not come on...you can hear when the power cable is plugged in, and the light changes from red to blue, but nothing else happens...I hope this isn't a serious problem. |

Have you tried unplugging the TV for about 30 seconds? This will reset it if it's locked up. |
