Ok, so I recorded a show off CW and in the middle of the recording, it somehow switched to SAP mode and had no sound (it was in timer mode, can you believe it?). This switch to SAP (not mid-record) has happened before I think when I've accidentally pressed that dang button, but I was able to get rid of it and put it back in stereo mode. However, I can't seem to get rid of the SAP setting now. It's a Panasonic VCR. Any ideas? I'm afraid anything I try and record from a network that has no SAP will wind up with no sound and be useless. I depend on my VCR and every time I hit that button and select stereo, it doesn't keep - it keeps staying in SAP. Help!
