OK .... Let me start here by saying... ALL OF YOU JUST SIT BACK AND CHILL OUT. Newbies ... Silver ..Bronze and Goldies ... and all the others. OPPINIONS ARE LIKE A@SHOLES EVERYONE HAS ONE.
But it doesn't mean we have to act like one does it?
Come-on its 2007 times is passing us by and most of us are still stuck in the Past. Lets turn the page and get on with what this forum was ment for STICK TO THE TOPIC Satellite TV

PERSONAL OPPINIONS are just that PERSONAL!!! Lets not share our thoughts unless it is a useful learning topic discussion.

If someone has posted wrong information then it needs to be cleared up on the spot. I do agree there is a way of doing this, but it CANNOT be done via PM. Too many people read here and take the advice we give them and when someone posts wrong information you can end up costing them money and agravation. I will be the first one to admit I have been corrected in the past and we are all human so we do make mistakes. BUT the biggest mistake would be to see incorrect information on the board and not correct it right away... That's my two cents. |

That is great advice. I 100% agree on your point. What needs to stop is the bashing for just the pure fun of it like some users have been doing here.
I feel if wrong info was given a simple statement such as " A better way of fixing that would be....." or "a easer way of getting your problem fixed would be to....." instead of " Hey stupid ____ you are stupid" like we have been getting.

Jay - The problem is that when info is bad you can't make a statement saying "A better way of fixing" because then you are giving the impression that the original post is correct and that's just another option. While I do agree with you that the "Hey Stupid" is overboard, you also have to see what has happened here in the past.
I have been here for a long time. This is the first nick I've had that no one tried to highjack, but I've had a few others in the past. Those who have been here for a while know that this normally comes from the past and arguments people have had and still continue to drag it out. I can honestly say, I've had that happen, but I've learned to ignore those who arbitrarily try to contradict anything I say. |

Our policy on containment is now in discussion. Proposals to abolish 234c & 456a, resolution 12 of paragraph 18 should be quite handy when dealing with this kind of behaviour.

OK I just rolled outta bed ... got my coffee.... and decide to read this thread... WOW ... what a way to wake up... I THINK... we sould just sit back and wait for Jenn to tell us the truth..
btw .. this is my truth ...
I am 5'6"... blonde hair pass my dhoulders... blue/green eyes(not hazel) they change colours on there own.
I weigh 145 (and lossing) still have all my teeth too LOL (incaase some of you need to know)I live in ontario canada one hours drive north east of Toronto. Hey Jenn... the kids are good thank you for asking and we have freezing rain today here in the southren part of Ontario. sofar we can still get satellite Tv LOL... Not to happy about my satellite internet connection. BTW does anyone know how to fix it so I can get faster connections?. We are just getting the basic package
