my dvr works fine with ariza..but is there a way to control the channel change from dvr so that timer recordings automatically go to the particular channel on ariza 700 and record. i.e no manual input ..it automatically records ch 140 (espn) for example every day at a specific time..
at present i need to manually make sure my ariza channel is set to 140 for thist |

I looked for an anwer for ya with little luck.
Does the receiver have a timer fuction that will tune to the channel? My viewsat and pansat both do.
If so that would be your answer I would think

The timer function might do it. but what if i want to record different channels on diff days etc..
i do have a IR blaster that came with the dvd recorder. So I think all I need is the brand code for ariza so that it is controlled by the IR(DVR). The toshiba manual does not have FTA receiver codes..I'm sure someone has it?? |

umm i would try to get ahold of the manufacture of the device with the IR blaster.
