I'm not very knowledgable about this stuff, so any help would definitely be appreciated. I have a PT-AE700u (about a year old). I started noticing a bright spot on the screen...it would very slowly get larger, smaller, change shapes (too slow to see it move, but over time, the bright spot would change). The "replace lamp" warning came on a few weeks ago, and since it's been about 2800 hours, i ordered a new one ($350!). I replaced the lamp, and the picture is better - but the bright field is still there, just as bad as it was before.
Does anyone know what i can do to fix this? Can it be fixed? |
