I am getting verticcal black lines about every inch across a Panasonic PT-50DL54 DLP Projection TV that is 18 months old. At first it occured after a certain time then it progressed to when ever the TV was turned on.

Called in a tech to come look at it and a couple days before they showed up, the lines disappears. Of course, the next after he showed up, the lines came back... Go figure...

I did find some archive posts on here regarding other brands of TV's with this problem, one of which mentioned it was a light engine problem, but it was for another make.

Anyone with a Panasonic projection TV that has had this problem or anyone who can help would greatly appreciated. If we call the tech out again and the lines are not there, we get charged for the service call because there would be no "warrany" problem.
