i have lost channels 1thru51 on my rca 32proscan.did the auto program and still not picking up the channels,, should i put it out for bulk trash or is it salvageable.

Can you direct access those channels? If not, use a VCR's tuner with the video outputs connected to the TV's video in. If the tuner is bad (very common) it will cost $100 to have it repaired
