RECEIVER: 3500SD DISH 1: 119/110, TWIN LNB: DISHPRO PLUS DISH 2: 61.5, LNB: DISHPRO DiSEq: 4 X 1 Right now, cables from 119 LNB to DiSEq 1, 110 LNB to DiSEq 2, 61.5 LNB to DiSEq 3 And one cable from DisEq to receiver I cannot get any channels scanned on 110 (echo 8.6). CHANNELS FROM other 2 Satellites are fine Do you have any suggestions? Also, when I try to backup my channel list by going to MENU, SD MEMORY I do not see anything like Code, CH DATA, MP3 How can I get it back thanks |

2 things must consider With receiver off and 61.5 not plugged at first Then turn receiver on to Antenna set-up 1- Match LNB type in LNB Type option 2- In DISEqC switch Assign each LNB to a seperate port Assuming that you don't have an alignment issue these are the 2 areas you need to try Can't use Standard/universal option in LNB set-up First try OSD-DP in LNB set-up 119 to port-1 in DISEqC 110 to port-2 in DISEqC or step and repeat: Twin LNB-1 in LNB set-up 119 to port-1 in DISEqC 110 to port-2 in DISEqC Twin LNB-1 in LNB set-up With receiver off and 61.5 not plugged Let me know if these options work |

King - I may be mistaking but look at this C/P from his post: "RECEIVER: 3500SD DISH 1: 119/110, TWIN LNB: DISHPRO PLUS DISH 2: 61.5, LNB: DISHPRO DiSEq: 4 X 1 Right now, cables from 119 LNB to DiSEq 1, 110 LNB to DiSEq 2, 61.5 LNB to DiSEq 3" ---------------------------------- SAMDO: First - The problem I see here is that you are using a DishProPlus LNB (you will need a DN Receiver connected to this at all times in order to supply power to this LNB) Second - Because this is a DishProPlus this mean that you do not use a DISECQ switch. the DishProPlus LNB has a built in Switch and an input for a third sat/lnb. You will have two outlets/outputs and one input on the fat head DishProPlus - From the two outlets/outputs you will run one cable directly into your STB and the other will have to go to your DN receiver (which will provide the power supply for the LNB). The third connection in this LNB is for an additional sat input. What this means is that you will connect your 61.5 LNB into this (as mentioned it has an internal switch) and you will configuer DISEcQ as stated by King above: 119 = 1 110 = 2 61.5 = 3 LNB Type is DishPro (not standard) |

Last but not least - These Dish Pro Plus LNB are not FTA friendly and while the power supply to the LNB is the biggest problem. Just adding any DN receiver will not work either. These were designed to be used with the newer models. A 311 or 322 will not do the job. |

I agree PRFRMNJ Twin DP may not be compatible with some receivers But if it is a voltage problem neither LNB will power up Therefore first best solution is to look for different LNB option like I was saying above he's got nothing to loose Twin DP has its own circuit switch similar to SW34 and similar to SW21 will work on some Receivers and not others. I didn't start log to see which one works and which won't work. Second best option is to use the Twin DP as a single LNB and strap a second to DISEqC with cleaver alignment Third option is to miss with its voltage power supply without knowing proper requirement Forth trade it for a regular DN500 Twin LNB If necessary I'll start my research to modify this Twin DP |

This really needs to be clarified: There are THREE (Fat Heads) types of Dish Pro LNB's Dish Pro Plus (NOT FTA Friendly Mainly Power issues) Dish Pro Twin (two outputs/outlets) Dish Pro Quad (four outputs/outlets) The Twin and Quad are very FTA Friendly and I've tested with Pansats, Viewsats, Fortecs (okay you get my point). To run a setup using a Dish Pro (Twin or Quad) with a third sat (61.5) the setup is as follows: One dish using the Dish Pro (fat head) with 110 & 119 Another dish using a Single LNB on 61.5 All connected to a DP34 and running directly to your STB. Your antenas on the STB should be configured as follows: LNB TYPE = DishPro or OSC-DP (depending on STB) Frequency = 11250 22khz = Off DISEcQ: 119 = 1 110 = 2 61.5 = 3 Again I repeat this is using the DishPro Fat Head (Twin or Quad). This is not the setup for the DishProPlus. For the DishProPlus please refer to my post # 1127 |

This is a DishProPlus (Not FTA Friendly) Not Recommended....
Notice the two outputs/outlets for DN Recievers (new receivers that is) and one input for a third sat hookup without a need of a switch. |

DPP setup...as already stated by PRFRMNJ, U need to keep BOTH receivers ON to power the Dish Pro Plus (DPP) LNB..and input correct antenna/dish settings in receiver...FTA receiver type doesn't matter...and I believe U can sub another FTA for the DN Legacy receiver in diagram (but not 100% sure)..and 3rd sat/LNB can be any one U want (NOT 148 necesarily).. 119-#1, 110-#2, #3-other sat LNB type -Dish pro freq-11250 etc..
