I have a Mitsubishi ws55807 rear projection purchased in 2000. Manual says tv is capable of 1080i with HD upgrade. Recently got Optimum IO Digital Cable with HD box. Box says output is 1080i. TV manual says to use DTV connections for HD signal, only options on tv menu for video display are 480 and 960.

Do I need to purchase another box to get HD 1080i to display on the tv or am I missing something in the setup process?

I have a Mitsubishi WS-55 rear proj.that I'm working on and I know what parts are bad but I need a one stop parts supplier.I've tried the Mitsubishi web site and all they offer are remotes,owner manuals etc...
