if i come out of the dvr to a splitter and feed to other tv's can i watch the 300 cable channels coming thru the box on these tv's? i know i would have to change the channel on the dvr.

also, if the signal was ran from the splitter to a vcr would the vcr double as a tuner that i could use to change the signal (channel) on the vcr/tv ?
